Locke's end to the blog

Now the time has come for me to say my goodbyes. The reason I must go is because my human nature is telling me that the right thing to do is to let you read my posts and figure them out for yourself and use them to benefit your own life. Remember to trust people because most of the time they will do the right thing, and that if you are leading and the majority does not like what you do you should change your ways before you are thrown out of the leading all together, and last human nature will lead you a little in your decisions but in the end it will be what you are taught that will lead you.

Entry 3

"Philosophies of leadership are determined by beliefs about human nature."

How you lead a group of people is based on the trust you put in them. A example of this is in a high school when student has a free block (no class) they can do within limits whatever they want without constant observation from a teacher while in other high schools where they do not trust the students when one of their students has a free block they has to stay in the classroom with a teacher they do not do anything wrong. The first high school has a good reason to trust the students at their high school because their belief in human nature states that give the right circumstances most people will do the right thing.

I Locke completely agree with this statement. I agree with the fact that in most circumstances most people will do the right thing. I strongly think that in all high school you should trust the students to do what they want in there free blocks because most will do work and do what they would do while being observed by a teacher of adult.

"The governed have a responsibility for their governance."

In a government the majority rules, if the majority is not happy they will throw out the government and replace it with one that the majority would like. An example of this is the way that Locke preferred the ending to the Lord of the Flies. In Locke’s ending he stated that he would like the majority to overrule jack’s monarchy and then promoted Ralph and his democracy. This is just like in a regular democracy, when the majority does not like a leader the leader can be impeached and a new one can be chosen because almost always the majority will rule.

I Locke extremely agree with this statement. When one person is unhappy it is most likely that there are many more people that are also unhappy, and when the time comes that all the unhappy people realize that more people are unhappy they will rebel and the government will fall and change to the majority.

"Human Nature does not determine our actions: it inclines us towards us towards certain actions."

Human nature leads our actions to a extent but after that its more to what our minds want us to do, and what we’ve been taught. I think that to a point yes we will do what human nature makes us do too survive but after that people will think civilized. An example of this is if you have 2 people stranded on a island with one sandwich and one bottle of water at first they will argue over the food but after they will become civilized and realize that to live they need each other.

I Locke disagree with the argument about the food I believe that the people would always be civilized and they would split the water and split the sandwich. People will always be civilized and think first before anything.

New ending to: The lord of the flies

I believe that if i had to choose a ending for the lord of the flies I would of over thrown the government. When the government is bad and people are not happy with the government i believe that the children should of over thrown the government. When there is a bad government the government will always be over thrown because the people will rebel and make the government to the majority. If the novel would of ended with the over throw of jacks government then the signal fire would of keep going and they might of been saved earlier, piggy would not of died. This is how i believe the ending would of gone; The boys would of over thrown jack because as of then jack was king in there monarchy and they would put Ralph back in charge of the group to lead them as a democracy. They would keep the smoke going and then get saved by the ship.

Loche: The state of natural

I believe that all people have natural god given rights which are life, health, liberty, and possessions. I also believe that in a government the leader should be some chosen and picked by the majority.
This is true because when anyone is born anywhere they should have the right to live, be healthy, be free, and have possessions. When someone is born who is to say whether or not they have to right to life? if you say someone doesn't have the right to live then why would you have that right? it doesn't matter who are are everyone has the same right to live and be healthy. when someone is born they should be automatically free to live because if you are the person to that is containing then why should you be able to be free while they must be captive? there is no good reason. when you make something for yourself like a house or a garden it is yours and will forever be yours, and when you pass it will be inherited by your children.
The government of a city or country or place should be made and agreed upon by the majority of the state. If the majority doesn't rule in a government then it is very simple what will happen, the government will be over thrown and the people will choose a new stile of government that they would rather have.
